Box of Polvorones ( 400 gr)

Along with the almond nougat ( Turrón), perhaps the most characteristic product of any Christmas table in Spain, we have the polvorones.

These are traditional holiday cookies, made from almonds and hazelnuts and with a  crumby shortbread-like texture. 

The word polvo means powder in Spanish, as these cookies  will literally met in your mouth once you try them.
